Update on Cari, and pictures of the car!

Cari is doing much better! She was moved out of the SICU on Saturday night. She might be coming home on Thursday. Her 2nd surgery went well. They put metal plates across her forehead in the first surgery, and in the 2nd they put about 13 metal plates in her cheekbone area. Everybone above her bottom teeth got pretty much smashed! She will have to get several surgery's done in the future. The doctor said just a couple more millilmeters and she would have been dead. We are so blessed to have her alive and healing well. She told me at one point she could hear and feel the bones moving around in her face. Anyways, she is doing tons better!!

Here are just a couple pictures of what the car looks like. The cow hit Cari's side then they think it flipped up and it's head wen through the windshield and then bounced over the top and landed behind it.

Wow, what a miracle that she was the only one seriously injured and that she survived. I hope she continues to heal well and that her little baby does well too.

Kelli each time I think about it or read your updates I just... I don't know it is really hard to think about this happening to your sister or anybody. It just hits too close to home i think. Anyways I am so happy to hear that she is stable and i hope the doctors can take good care of her and send her home to her family as soon as possible. I have been thinking about all of you allot lately. Please call if you need anything.
