Halloween!!

Ok, so I am needing to catch up once again.
First the update on my car, I got it back on Thursday last week. The total bill cost me $1,300. My timing belt was breaking (all the little teath on it) and the rubber that broke off from my timing belt went all over the place. One piece ended up in the gear sensor (or something like that) and got stuck in the magnet that it passes through and that is when my car had shuddered and shut down. The mechanic said I was lucky that it shut down, because if it hadn't then I would have been looking at a $6,000 bill. So I consider myself blessed that that is all that happened.
A week ag0 our wonderful friends Cam and Kristina threw a Halloween party. It was the same night as Jason's family's halloween party. So we hopped from one to the other. Both were so much fun and enjoyable. I always enjoy getting together with family and friends. Plus I love to dress up for halloween. Here are some pictures from the events.
We are Bacon and a fried egg
The whole gang at the party that our friends threw. Me, Julie, Kristina and Chelsea (we missed you Megan)!

Next, I stayed at my inlaws house all weekend and and through out the week to stay with my little sister in law while my MIL and FIL were out of town. Sunday was my SIL's birthday so we celebrated with some cake, and we will have the real party when the whole family is down. Happy Birthday Liz. We love you. Thanks for being such a great friend. I know your bday probably wasn't as exciting as you wanted it to be. Vanessa and I had such a good time together. On Monday we had gone running down the canyon for a work out. It was a good chance to just talk with her. I felt bad though becuase I had alot going on at work. I had to get my food handlers permit on Tuesday (soooo boring) and then on Wednesday I went to a food show with my boss and her family for work. It was interesting to see how everything goes. The only regret I had was wearing high heals to it. Thursday we just hung out, and on Friday we partied.

On Halloween I dressed up as a nerd for work. I wore taped glasses and a bow tie with my hair in pig tails. Once work was over I put my fried egg costume on and me and my sister took my nephews to Jason's work halloween party. They decorated their whole building with different themes. It's quite the show, and you can tell they put a ton of effort into it. Anyway, through out the building the kids trick or treat. After that I picked up Vanessa and her friends for the party at my inlaws house. Teenage girls...enough said. Lol...just kidding. They are all good girls, and it seems like they had a lot of fun. While they had fun I went to my families traditional halloween party at my grandparents house. We have cider and doughnuts. It was fun to see everyones costume. I then went back to my inlaws to chill the rest of the night. Around 11:30 they (my wonderful mother and father in law) pulled in. I got my things together, took some of Nessas friends home and went home to be with my hubby.

Saturday we slept in... something I havn't done in a while, and cleaned. Jason went to help his dad with his computer, and I had a photo shoot. The last location for the shoot was at utah lake. It was beautiful and fun, but at one point we all looked down to find that our feet and legs were covered in mosquito. Later at home while I was washing my feet I started to realize what I once thought was dirt specks was actually a million (ok, maybe more like only 37) mosquito bites. My feet look funny. Seriously, mosquitos should be dead this time of year! Dumb bugs! Then on Sunday we went to church and later on celebrated my Grandma Dodies 84th birthday. All the cousins were there and it was so chaotic and fun! My Grandpa even came out of his room and joined in singing out traditional German birthday song. Such good memories. So, there you all go, I am once again caught up. So sorry for the long post. I really don't expect many to read all of it. It is just my boring ramblings!! SO all in all life is good and it can be hard, but the good times out weigh the tuff times!
I hope you all have a great week!
Kelli :)

Love the costumes! You'll have to look at Taraleigh's blog. They were the same thing except her pregnant belly was the yoke! (: Hey, when's the next 5k?

Also, Bill makes a good convict which worries me a little...(:

I love how you all still get together, even after 6+ years. And about the Eye of the Tiger ... do you remember when we made up a song in English class about Kleenexes to the tune of this song? Everytime I hear it I think of that.
