2 Years Old!!

I can't believe the boys are all ready 2 years old. Time has just flown by and I love every minute of it. There is so much that I have written down since they have turned 1 and I have not shared it. There are so many notes here and there with cute stuff they have done. So someday I will collect all of those and share. Anyways, their birthday was July 7th and it fell on a Wednesday. I got donuts for the boys (in our family donuts were usually the choice for breakfast on a birthday). We had fun, played outside and when Dad came home from work we went out to dinner. It was a good day and the party was just a couple of days away......

Here are the cakes I made the boys. I came up with the idea early on to put the cake in some dump trucks. The boys absolutely LOVE their cars and trucks and so it was perfect for me to do it this way. Of course with yummy chocolate "dirt" in the dump trucks I had to make the classic worms in oreo dirt cupcakes. I made a super yummy chocolate and vanilla cake with some choco pudding in between layers and topped it off with homemade chocolate cream cheese frosting...everyone was saying how good it was!! Yup, I am tooting my own horn for being completely awesome!! Lol....


We could not light the candles because it was too windy. So we sang and had the boys pretend. :D Jensen is on the left, Brad on the right.
Let the par-taaay begin!!! Our neighbors aboslutely love us so they let us use their pool for the birthday party. I loved it, the boys loved it and so did the whole family. It was so much fun seeing all the kids splash and play.

FUN...YOU BETCHA!!This is the present that Grandma and Grandpa West got the boys. Let's just say they love it and so does every kid in the neighborhood.

Out of the pool and starting to dry off for a storm was approaching fast...
before you knew it the wind was blowing and rain started to fall...we all cleaned up and headed back to the house for presents....the many many presents. The boys got SPOILED!! Thanks to all the wonderful Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents and cousins who gave to my two cute boys!!
Here we are the next morning playing with the toys and having fun!!I made the boys blankets and pillows for their present. They were "CARS" themed. They loved them!! :D Happy Birthday to my wonderful Brad and Jensen who have kept my life interesting and fun for the past 2 years. I love your giggles and smiles. I love your hugs and kisses that you give me and everything else about you!!!
