Spotlighting my boys!

I hope you all will get use to hearing about my boys. They are the biggest part of our lives now, so it's what I will be blogging alot about. :) So stick with me. I don't expect you all to read everything. The blog is my journal, so I need to record all I can about them and our life!

Everyday my boys are growing up. It's amazing just how much they have grown. On Tuesday it will be 4 weeks that they have been in our lives. I really can't imagine life with out them. On Tuesday this past week they had their 3 week check up. I will put their stats from that in just a minute. On Friday we took them in to get circumsized. My poor little guys were so brave. Jensen barely cried. He was actually sleeping while she gave him the shot to numb him. He cries more when I change his diaper. Brad did almost just as well as his brother. I have gotten peed on now several times. I change a diaper about every hour. I have placed a Bounce dryer sheet on the changing table to help out with the smell... lol. My days are spent feeding, burping, changing diapers, cleaning up spit up, washing babies blankets and clothes, cleaning bottles and milking myself and I would not have it any other way. We keep track of the times they eat, how much they eat and if they had a wet or dirty diaper.

Ok so now on to the cute little things about my boys....
Jensen Dean West

Jensen was born first at 11:40 weighing in at 6.6 lbs and 18 1/2 inches long. He has blue eyes with blonde or a strawberry blonde hair color. At his 3 week checkup he weighed 7.2 lbs and was 20 1/2 inches long. His head was 36 cm around.

*Jensen was named after Jasons Grandma. Her maiden name was Jensen. Dean his middle name comes from Jasons Dad whose middle name is Dean as well.

*Nickname is squeakers or squeaky because when he gets the hiccups he souunds like a squeaky toy.

* He spit up through his nose and his mouth a lot in the beginning.

* He just likes to watch things going on

* He loves his mommy (daddy said that) :)

*He loves to be cuddled and held

* When I talk he usually turns his head to where I am

* He breastfed first, and latches on more than Brad

* He didn't cry during his circumcision.

* He has dimples

* Sucks his thumb, fingers, arms and binkies

* Loves to move his arms alot

* Has a sstrong neck. He can hold it up pretty well.

Bradley Randall West

Brad was the 2nd born weighing in at 6.12 lbs and 18 1/2 inches long. He had to be in the nicu for 2 hours because he had troubles breathing. He has blue eyes and blonde or strawberry blonde hair (kind of hard to tell)! At his 3 week check up he weighed 7.6 lbs and was 20 1/2 inches long. His head was 37 cm around.

*Brad is named after my Grandpa Keith whose middle name is Bradley. His middle name Randall is my Dad's first name.

*Nickname is Bradley Bright eyes. He likes to be awake... alot and just stare at you.

*sucks his thumb, fingers, arms and binkies.

*He likes to grab your fingers and anything else he can.

*He loves his Daddy (he tends to calm down quickly in Jasons arms)

*He has only latched on once. Not so interested in breastfeeding.

*He loves to have his feet rubbed, it calms him.

*When the tv is on he will turn his head towards it and watch it.

*He gets the hiccups alot but does not squeak like his brother

* He likes to be on his tummy

Similarities between the two...

*They both hate being wrapped up tight. Every time they sleep their hands go either to their face or above their heads, and their feet and legs are stretched out. It's the cutest sight!

*They both poke themselves in the face alot. Their eyes are usually the target.

*They love their blankets loose.

*They both have very long fingers and toes... oh and arms and legs. They are like monkeys...lol

*I don't think they can really control their smiles yet, but when they get smiles on their faces it makes my heart melt.

*They both are very alert to the world around them.

*They both have long tounges (they get it from their dad)

*Their hands are usually always by their face

*They are both gasy...

*They are both so strong

*They both hate diaper changes

*They have both peed on me :)

*They both make their Daddy and Mommy so happy and proud!

Your boys are adorable! I love that you gave them such meaningful names. And I also like to hear the similarities and differences. I hope they are sleeping well for you. The first few months are so tiring, but it gets better.

So fun to hear it all. They are adorable. If you haven't noticed, all us other mommies only blog about our babies too. We are not deterred by this in the least.

Again, such cute pictures. I have a feeling you are holding out on us though. Come on, photographer, bring it on.
