I'm tired....

Sleep... not so sure what that word means... ;).
Today, and the last couple of days have been tiring. I have that headache that is behind the eyes and in the head. The boys have been more fussy. They have not been sleeping as well. I'm guessing it's due to the fact that they have Thrush in their mouths (a yeast infection) it hurts them and makes it painful to eat. They are on medicine but it's not getting too much better. And Brad seems to puke soon after. And it's not just a little bit, it's everything that went down. I know they say it looks like more when it comes back up, but this is different than other times that they puke. This is ALL that they ate. It also seems like they have diarrhea, plus they have a little cough. It makes me so sad. I am trying all that I can to make them feel better. Anyways, it's been the trend the past couple of days for one to wake up as soon as the other falls asleep. Which means mommy gets no sleep. They just keep trading back and forth all day like that. I gave them both a bath today because they both puked everywhere. Yesterday some got on the couch...yikes!! It makes me so sad, especially when it comes out of their nose. My poor little guys!! They love to fall asleep on my chest, but yesterday and today it seems to take them longer to fall asleep.
My house also smells of dirty diapers. We take them out to the garbage often and I keep my scentsy candles going. If you come and visit please be honest and tell me if my house stinks! :)
My friend Kristin and I took pictures of our boys on Thursday. Her two sisters came with us to help out with my boys and her boy Jack. I got some cute shots. We had a lot of fun, and for the most part the boys were good. It was also nice to get out of the house and hang out with people I love. Oh, Brad is on the BLUE blanket and Jensen is on the GREEN...Here are just a couple for now...

Oh Kelli...I am so sorry! I hope that the thrush goes away quickly and that you and the boys get some more sleep. It is so hard to function during the day when you don't get good sleep at night.(I am sure you know that better than I do with having twins ;)

I love brad snuggled on the blue one :) Sorry to hear they aren't feeling well or letting you sleep! If we would there we would totally give you guys a night off to go catch up on sleep!

I'm sorry. Hang in there....it's bound to get better. Life is ever busy with a new baby...let alone two. I feel for you. If I lived close I would come over and take care of them so you could sleep. Every mom needs sleep!

Love the pictures. They are getting big already. I can tell. My question: Is the tired now worse than the pregnancy? (Please say NO!) I am 29 weeks now and not a happy camper.

Thrush is not fun. This is a little extreme, but if it continues you could try it. My friend's baby couldn't get over the thrush. The mom was nursing. She went off of ALL dairy, sugar and yeast. The thrush went away and never came back. Her baby had thrush many, many times (nearly always) for about 6 months. She was at her wits end. Again, this is extreme sacrifice, but if it doesn't go away, it's an option. Hope it doesn't come to that. We all need a little ice cream now and then! HA

k...has anyone told you about the diaper genie? I love mine...however I know some people who claim they didn't make a difference, but we bought the cheap one and loved it from day one...and have almost had it for a year...and my o my can our little guy pump out some nasty smells! The only think is it doesn't hold a ton...so you would prob need two. Next time I come to town we will see what we can do! Wish I were close enough to help out!
