Prom & Scrapbooking Retreat

Allright, to start off my husbands little sister got asked to prom. I of course came over and took pictures of the cute couple. It was Timpview High Prom. I guess they do a promenade for all the parents to come and watch their kids get announced and walk by.
Anyways, this is Corbin and Vanessa. I thought they looked so cute. Oh, the giddiness of high school. The carefree days of being a kid and having fun. I loved being there when he came to get her. Of course my mother in law and I were taking tons of pictures, and telling them to smile and pose like this, then pose like that. then we went out and got pictures in front of the door, then over in front of the blossoms on the tree. Nancy (my mother in law) and I both had big smiles on our faces. I think we were just as excited as Vanessa for all of this. You looked Beautiful Nessa. This was kind of posted backwards.
On Thursday April 22 my wonderful mother came up and watched the boys for 6 hours until Jason got home from work. I headed up to Park City for a weekend of girl fun and scrapbooking. This was my 3rd year of going. I love all the ladies and the fun that takes place. Although instead of taking place in the classes I was a staff member. I helped out by answering questions that people had. I pretty much just helped wherever I was needed. The picture below is just of the advanced class. There was a class next door of the beginners.
In the picture below is April-she is the owner of Digital Scrapbook Memories. She is such an amazing person. She is the nicest person you will ever meet. She works hard and does so much for everyone that is a part of DSM. She always has fun contests going on in the forums. She gives away SO much. I can't even remember how many prizes she gave away at the retreat. Then the next woman in the picture is Brooke. She is one of the amazing teachers. She is hilarious and has craftiness OOZING out of her ears. Then comes Alisha, she is the other amazing teacher. She too is hilarious and very crafty. Put Brooke and Alisha together and what do you get? Pure crazy fun! They joined the party in our townhouse friday night and everyone was laughing the whole time! I have some GREAT pictures of them, but if I posted them they might send me hate mail. ;)
Brooke, Alisha, Brittany (who brought her cute little guy along with her)-I held him a lot. It made up for me missing my own two little guys. Brittany is another of my favorite people. She along with her mother were in the townhome with me.
Next we have the 3 sisters that were in the townhouse as well... Barbara, Amy and Karen. LOVE these women. Haha, we had a great time. They are so fun to be around. I brought my cds in so we could all listen to music, they saw my Newsies cd and we all agreed that we had to listen to it. So there we all were singing Newsies. It was great. Who doesnt love that show and the songs that come from it? Tell me did you prefer SPOT from Brooklyn or Jack"cowboy"Kelly? I always had a crush on Jack and David his friend. And who can forget the great dancing and harmonizing done by all the newsie boys!
There were sooo many other pictures of so many other great women. I had so much fun, and am grateful for my hubby taking work off on Friday and watching the boys the whole weekend so I could get away and relax. When I came home saturday evening (the night of the prom) I walked in the house to find it just as clean as i had it when I left. He had the boys bathing in thebath tub and had made lunch earliler that day. I must say I was amazed. Although later on Jason did admit to keeping it all clean to prove that he coud do it too. So proud of you honey!
