9 month checkup

Ok, so in 3 days they will be 10 months old, and in fact their 9 month check up was on the 20th of April, so it was more of a 9 1/2 month checkup. But here are their stats and some cute little things about the boys.

Jensen: He weighed 26.2 lbs-100%-pretty much off the charts
His height was 30 1/2 inches which was 100%
His head i cant remember but it was off the charts but not as much as it use to be. Lets just say that he has brains.
Some random thing about Jensen are...
*he bites his lower lip alot
*ALWAYS gives BIG smiles to everyone. My dad is always saying that Jensen smiles at him more than Brad.
*He loves to play with his toes.
* He sings. It is the cutest thing. If he hears music playing he starts to sing along. He absolutely loves music.
*He loves the Spongebob theme song
*Um, he called 911 on April 26th. My phone rang, I answered and i hear a lady say "this is 911 is there an emergency?" I say to her, "oh my, I am so sorry. My son had my cell phone" she then cuts me off and kind of yelled at me saying,"Mam, please keep your phone away from your children" to my deffense the phone was on lock. there is an option though that comes up when some buttons are pushed that says "call SOS?" And that is when Jensen and hit the "send" button. I no longer allow them to play with my locked cell phone. sorry 911 lady.
*He laughs at himself, and then gets Brad laughing. He makes this noise that sounds like he is clearing his throat and then laughs. it is the funniest/cutest thing.
*He is curious about everything. he grabs at it and follows everything with his eyes.
*On April 26th he started to sleep on his tummy. before that it was on his side.
*He loves to drink cold water out of my glass.
*Loves peoples fingers.
*He is so attentive. He will gently touch peoples faces and feel everything. It is so cute. You can just feel the love coming from him.
*To get around he will roll, then get on his hands turn himself in the new direction then roll again. He is SO close to crawling.
*He comforts his brother. When Brad cries he will put his hand on Brads shoulder and just look at him.
*Jason says that he loves to sit in my lap. That he is just calm and comfy being in my lap.
*he cries most of the time when i blow my nose
*his eyes get splotchy when he cries, or when his eyes water.
*He loves to pull on anything that dangles. Hair, curtains, strings, anything that dangles above him. He once pulled 8 strands of hair out of my head in one tug. talk about OUCH!
*He loves to ride in the car.
*He does a high pitched scream while smiling. It's part of how he talks...
*Loves his exersaucer
*He makes the "Grudge" sound alot. You know, that weird throaty sound that can be creepy, but is cute when he does it because there is a smile and some blabble afterwards.
*He loves to stick his finger in Brads mouth. He thinks it is funny.
* He just barely got his first tooth on April 30th. Wahoo (it explains why he was so extremely grumpy the day before)
*he has figured out how to push the drain handle down to drain the water out of the tub. he does it often.
Brad: He weighed 24.8 lbs -100%
His height is 30 inches 95%
His head was off the charts like Jensens, but is sitll 1 1/2 cm smaller than Jensens. Still big brains though. :)
Some fun facts about Brad are:
*Brad still Blabbles alot. He is definetly our talker. I love it.
*He sings, just not as much as Jensen
*He eats his toes. And likes others to eat his toes as well. Mommy can get some high pitched laughs/squeals when she eats his tummy and toes.
*He got his 1st tooth on Thursday April 8th, and the 2nd tooth about a week later
*He blows "raspberries' with his mouth all the time. He loves to do it to right after I have put a spoonful of food in his mouth, which then sprays everywhere. It makes me smile... most of the time.
*He too also sucks on his lower lip
*He is curious as well. He will grab items and just look at them. He looks it over then will shake it, turn it over and look some more.
*He loves anything that is a paper product. He loves to rip it, suck on it and hear the noise that comes from it. He likes paper more than toys...
*He loves ceiling fans and anything that dangles as well. When I change his diaper on the changing table it can be difficult because he wiggles alot trying to pull down the blanket that hangs from the curtain rod.
*He does not cry when Jensen steals his toys, where as Jensen does cry when Brad takes his
*He will comfort his brother also when he is crying.
* he loves to stick his finger in Jensens ear while I feed them.
* he loves to drink my cold water as well. He tries to grab it from my hand. When the glass is empty he like to try and chew on it. He just likes the feel of the glass.
*He gives these big cheesy smiles ever since he got his first tooth. I love them
*His face also gets splotchy when he cries, or when the sun gets in his eyes.
* He pats his chest like tarzan with his palm. Kind of like he is saying, "I am Brad"
*He too will cry when I blow my nose. I don't know why it scares them so bad. It is not that loud.
* He loves to take his diaper off. He will sit there and play with the little tabs on the diaper and pull at it, then just rip it away from the diaper. There has only been one time where I have found him with his diaper completely off. Thankfully it was clean, and so was everything else. I now have to put him to sleep with some kind of clothing on to stop him from doing that.
*He too loves to ride in the car.
*He can bounce forever in his exercauser.
*He always tries to grab Jensens hand to hold it.
* while in the bathtub, sitting up he will bend down and dip his face in the water. He likes the feel of water on his face, and I notice he tires to get little sips of water (ewww, bath water.) dont worry I clean my tub often.
*He too loves the spongebob theme song.
They both are so cute. I just love to watch their cute personalities grow everyday. They are very happy and well mannered babies. They both are extremely well at taking naps. I put them down in their cribs fully awake. They turn their heads into their blankets and go to sleep. They are fantastic eaters. They still love everything. I just started to give them the little biter bisquits, and some little yougurt bites. They still love their veggies. They do sleep through the night. It is very easy to tell when they are tired and it's time to sleep. They just get a little fussy. I love to watch them sleep. Sleeping babies are so cute. They still love bath time, they play and splash. I just know they will be little fishies. I can dump toys on the floor and they just play with them. They will roll around all over the room. They both have gotten great at opening the doors of our TV stand. Thankfully they dont pull out the dvds...yet. They clap their hands and kind of wave. Like I mentioned before they both love Spongebob Square pants. The song intrigues them more than anything else. Their heads stay locked on the tv the whole time the song plays. When it is done they resume playing with their toys. They still are always well behaved when I take them out to the store. They look and smile at everyone.

Anyways, there ya go. I can't believe that in 2 months we will be celebrating their 1st birthday. Whoa, where has time gone? CRAZY!!!! I can't wait for all the many changes that will be taking place in their lives. Pretty soon crawling, then walking. More talking. Real people food. Life sure goes by fast. I love Jensen and Brad so much. They make me so happy (some days I am so tired, but those days come with the good).
