Busy, busy, busy!!

These past couple of weeks have been busy! So much has been happening. I have been taking family pictures like crazy. Everyone wants the beautiful canyon shots! Which has been great. I love to drive up the canyon!! There are a couple of things that I willbe posting that happened a while ago. I just havn't gotten around to posting it! Here is a picture from up in the canyon...
First off, my beautiful best friend Kiki (Kristin) moved to Texas! Her hubby got a job there and they moved about three weeks ago. A couple of days before she left we went out for Thai food. A favorite for the both of us! We talked and had so much fun. It will be so weird not to have her close. I'm mostly sad about the fact that she is pregnant and I won't be around for it. I won't get to go to the hospital and visit her when the baby comes. I'm so sad about this. I always pictured us being there for each other for those events. Anyway, so we ate and talked and pretty much started to cry a little (we were trying to hold it back)! We said goodbye, and I am so sad. She is however coming to visit in November, so that will be fun to see her so soon again. Kiki you are such a great friend to me. Thank you for all that you have done for me. You are a great example of love and forgiveness. You are so sweet, and I don't think I have ever seen you mad at someone. And when you are mad you smile. Thanks for being the best a friend a girl could ever ask for!! Here are some pictures of us from the past!!! We sure did have some great times!!

Ok, anyway so every morning this past week I have gotten up and gone running with my friend Megan! We go up Provo canyon and run down. We are entered to run a 5K this upcoming Satruday and I am excited for that. I have never ran a race before. I HATE running.... or at least I use to. :) For the first time on Friday I ran 3 1/2 miles without stopping. YAY for me! Lol...I was so excited and happy! I am sad that winter is coming on though because that means no more running in the canyon for a while. Anyway, so that is my update on my running.

Ok, so anyway about 4 weeks ago My friend Jeni and I threw a baby shower for our wonderful friend Jaycie! We played a couple of games and ate some good food. We all had fun talking and hanging out. She actually had her baby a couple weeks ago and was just able to bring her home. She named her daugther Lily. She is so cute, and I can't wait to get some pictures of her. Here are some pictures from the baby shower...

Oh, and here is a picture of a spider that I saw crawling towards me when taking some senior pictures on Friday. I have never seen one out in the wild like that! Kinda creepy eh?

Cute pictures Kelli! I LOVE the one with the fall colors. That's sad to hear about Kristin moving, it's hard to see good friends go. I know the last I heard she was getting married so that's fun to hear about her pregnancy.
See you soon!

Okay.....I have not been gone from the ward that long have I? Who the heck did Jaycie marry? It wasn't Sam was it? I swear I would have heard about that even 700 miles away.

It's fun to see pics of all my old peeps! I miss that ward. It was way too much fun.

The Canyon pictures were so beautiful! I love the fall leaves.

Congratulations on the 3 1/2 miles. My friend and I just started running too. We're up to 2 miles. We were thinking about running a 5K in 2 weeks, but we discovered yesterday that we don't run well in the morning. Too bad there are no 5Ks in the evening when we actually have energy.

I love the baby shower picture. It's great to see people from the Sharon Park ward. We just loved that ward and all the wonderful friends there.

That barn picture is out of this world! I'm in love with it. Where is that? It is definitely frameworthy. :) I'm sorry about your friend moving, that is tough. But how nice to have the internet to keep in touch better, right?? ;) I'm also impressed with your running, that's awesome. I need to get my bum in gear...seriously. You are one fabulous gal. :)

Love the canyon pictures, especially the close up of the leaves and the 'pond' picture. Good luck in your race.

Hi Kelli! You know I love you! You are so sweet with what you wrote. I miss you so much! Moving away has been one of the hardest things. I am awfully homesick but trying to stay positive! Grant started work today. I am really hoping that he likes it. (Haha, my mom is hoping that he doesn't like it so we move back to Utah. Oh Annette). I am hoping that you will have time to hang out with me when I am in Utah. We should do dinner or something. Also, did you finally see that I started a blog. It's funny because I showed Grant and he did the first entry. He is so excited for our baby it is adorable. I hope to talk to you soon. I love you!
