Strep Throat

Well, I woke up Sunday morning around 2 am and realized that it REALLY hurt on the left side of my throat when I would swallow. I was in and out of sleep until 4 am when I got out of bed and started to drink some juice. I was getting hot and cold chills, my body ached and I really just didn't feel to good. So I just layed around the house all day. Which I was so sad about, because we were celebrating my father in laws brithday that evening and obviously I didn't want to get others sick so Jason and I didn't go over. But Robert was so kind to bring over some soup, crackers and sprite. He even heated it up for me. He called himself our personal chef. Lol...thank Robert for everything you did for us yesterday. Later that evening Robert and Vanessa came by with some food and cake from the party. I went in and out of sleep getting really cold and having the chills, to getting so hot I was sweating.

Finally Monday morning came and I called the docs office. They would see me at 11:45! By this time both sides of my throat were hurting. So I go to the docs and she took one look in my throat and said, "oh wow. That looks really nasty in there." And they confirmed my thoughts that it was strep (by swiping my throat and testing it)! I asked for the shot in the butt becuase it meant that in 24 hours I would no longer be contagious, and it's just faster than the pills. When she took my temp it was 101.6 or something like that. And my head even felt cooler than it had on Sunday! I stopped by Juice Press to take care of the food order, and then went home. I fell asleep freezing cold, and woke up sweating and hot! Ughhhh- I hate it! I use to get strep throat all the time when I was younger, but it's been about....well at least 10 years since I have had it! I didn't go to work today, and I can't go tommorrow! It drives me crazy to be home all day. I get so bored just sitting around and feeling like crap! I can't wait until I can swallow again without being in so much pain.

So that has been my last 2 days! I hate being sick, and the feeling of your whole body being achey. I hope it's at LEAST another 10 years before I get strep throat again! I guess it could be worse though...right? Well thanks for reading my complaing about not feeling well!
