West Family Reunion

I always love getting together with the West side of the family come August time. Every year in August we meet at a park in Provo and have good old fun. Usually some sort of water fight breaks out or there is a water slipnslide or a nice stream to play in which was what we did this time. The stream was FREEZING but it was still fun to cool off from the heat! The boys liked it...for about 5 seconds and then they wanted out. They then got back in a couple minutes later only to get out just as fast as they went in! Of course I was the mammarazzi and was taking pictures while they were wanting to get back out. Mean, I know but I got cute pictures :D.

Here are the boys sitting on this rock. You have Jensen with his cousin, and below Brad finally joined in...

Here the 3 boys are playing and having fun just splashing their feet. Brad did not want to be on the rock anymore and was trying to get off when he slipped and fell face first into the stream. It scared him so back and he got a nice goose egg on his eyebrow area. Asher and Jensen were still having fun though, that is at least until a yellow jacket showed up and stung Jensen on the ear. The poor kid just started crying and grabbing his ear. His ear was bright RED and just a little bit swollen, but it had gone down by the time we left. To this day if he see's a Bee or a fly he says, "BEEEEEEE" and covers his ears. Traumatized? Yes, yes he is. :(


The fall and the yellow jacket sting didn't stop the fun though. They calmed down and went and had fun on the playground and played until it was getting dark and time to say bye to everyone and go home.




It was so fun, and I can't wait to see what happens next year!!
