{Happy Valentines Day!!}

Here is my wonderful husband! Today he celebrates his 28th birthday! Here's to one year older and wiser too!! Jason is such a great husband and a wonderful Dad. He loves our two little boys with all of his heart. He loves to spend time with them. He is so good with them. I swear they love him more than me (or they are just sick of me by the end of the day and are so happy to see him)! I would like to thank Jasons mom Nancy for giving birth to him on this wonderful day. He also shares his birthday with his little sister Vanessa who was born 11 years after him. When she was born Jasons sister and brother teased Jason that from now on he would only get half the presents and half the cake. They like to deny that :) but we all now how brother/sister relationships work. I think it's funny! hahah, anyways Happy Birthday honey, I LOVE YOU!! Happy Late Valentines Day everybody! I hope you all had a great day filled with LoVe! First off before I go on about Vday I want to share with you a picture of Brad with squash all over his face! Mmmm... he is a great eater. He opens his mouth nice and wide. So far the only thing he hasnt like are carrots, but I think it is because he was not too hungary....so we shall try again tommorrow. Jensen is getting better at eating finally so we are moving right along in that department.
Here is Jensen and Uncle Tyler. Tyler is so good with my boys, it is always so fun to see him play with them.
Jasons brother Ryan and his wonderful wife Stephanie are always so sweet and send the boys gifts on holidays (well we all know it is Steph that puts the thought into these-it usually is the woman that does). They sent them these cute outfits, it was sure fun to go up and get the mail to find a package waiting for us to open.
The boys dug in right away eating the tissue paper. They LOVE paper, the feel and the sound of it.
Here they are, Brad with the Blue and Jensen with the brown and green!! Thanks you two for always being so thoughtful!! We sure appreciate it!
Jasons Mom asked me to make the dessert for the Valentines dinner. So I thought i would make a big hostess cupcake!! Chocolate cake with a marshmallow creme filling and a chocolate ganache toppping...mmmm yum!!
Nancy had asked that all the kids wear white or red shirts. She put them all together and took some pictures. I know they aren't as good. I don't haul my nice camera around any more. With two carseats and a big diaper bag that is full that last thing I want to carry around is another big bag, so right now my Dad is being wonderful and letting me use his P&S camera that also takes video. Thanks Dad!! Here is Brad holding the B!!
And Jensen holding the E.....
Put them all together (with a couple extra letters besides B&E) and what do ya get?.....
BE MINE!!!... here are all the Grandkids!! Such a clever idea Nancy!!

Well besides going over to jasons family for dinner on Vday we just stayed home. We had stake conference that day but didn't go because the boys were up all night long and I was exausted!! Jason got me a cute "musical" card and some romantic DVDs that he promised he would watch with me (which is huge, hes not big into chick flicks)!! He also gave me the promis of getting a nice new camera!! YAY!!! I like that idea. I got Jason some Jelly Bellys (he loves them) with a cute card and the Simpsons 12th season! He was happy about that. We smothered our handsome boys in kisses and called it good!

I have not been up too much lately except for being tired. I think the lack of sleep for the past 7+ months is finally catching up to me. I have had NO energy whatsoever. Not fun. I always feel exshausted, any ideas to help that? I still go to the gym, but its hard because I feel like I don't have a ton of energy to put into the work out. After I do zumba (which I sweat a ton at) I go running for 1/2 hour afterwards or lift some weights. It just been these past two weeks that doing that has been extra hard to do. To pull the energy out to do it is tiring. Also one little note to the lady I saw running on the treadmill in front of me, holding onto the sides of the treadmill or the front of the treadmill while running at a 7.5 speed does nothing. If you have to hold on to run that fast than obviously you can't run that fast(and it's not just every now and then-it's every 5 seconds)! Also who really gets ready for the gym at 7 in the morning? Why do full hair and makeup when your just going to sweat it up? I don't understand!

I was able to hang out with my sister in law Liz on thursday night. We went and saw Valentines Day which was cute, then grabbed some food at Zupas afterwards. It was good fun. Than today I hung out with my friend Kristin for a coupld of hours. It's always so nice to just hang out. Our boys got along well...and her little sister Zoe had so much fun playing with Jensen and Brad. It was a great day...

Oh also I love all the comments I get from people when I go out with the boys, it's pretty funny! I get "Oh my, well bless your soul" a lady told me today at Walmart "God bless you, you need it"-lol... then the other day while walking into target I was carrying the boys in each arm because there were no carts near by, from about 10 different people i got, "looks like you've got your arms full" or "oh wow, look twins" or "you sure have a heavy load there" which to all I think in my head "really, I've got my arms full? I didn't notice. Nice of you all to point it out" it really doesn't bother me, but it's just funny. I remember when i was pregnant getting a ton of comments from people the minute they found out I was having twins it was either, "are they identical?" or " does it run in the family?" or "did you use In Vitro?" (which I think is a personal question to ask, epecially come from a stranger)! I get stopped though all the time in the store with them. People stop and stare, ask every question, try to look at them when they are sleeping. It just amazing the attention that twins get. Sometimes I feel like people think and treat my boys more special just because they are twins. I think if I only would have had one he still would have been just as special. Sorry, just a lot of rambling thoughts here. I don't mind it because being a stay at home mom i don't get to talk to many grown ups and I am very much a people person so it's fun to talk to people, it's just funny sometimes.

Another thing, the olympics are on and I am loving it! I love the feeling of pride and happiness I get when a USA olympian walks away with a medal. The opening ceremony is great because I love to see all the different countries and how many people they have competing. My favorite events are all types of figure skating/ ice dancing. I think the outfits can be outright UGLY and weird, but others can be so beautiful! I also love any snowboarding event! The guys are more fun to watch just because they go above and beyond craziness!! The moguls are fun, as well as ski jumping. The one I don't get is curling.... hehe just a different sport! I hope you all are getting into the spirit and the fun of the olympics! I am always sad when they end. seeing the flame get put out is always sad.

Anyways, I will be surprised if anyone actually read this all the way through... if you did you deserve a GOLD medal!!! Congratulations!!

I'll take another piece of cheesecake instead of the gold. Fun pictures once again! You always make me laugh.

Gold for me too! I read it all!

Good job getting into the gym even though you are tired. That will help. I think the best way to get rid of some of the fatigue is to do something for yourself. Go get a massage or read a book in the bathtub or just take a nap! If I were there I would take your boys so you could, but I'm sure there are plenty of people who wouldn't mind giving you a break.

I read it all. ALL! Why? Because I knew I would relate with you throughout. It is therapy to read and say, "Yay. I get that. My hands are full? That is all you could come up with?" Hee hee. And...I have NO, NO, NO energy. It doesn't make sense either. My girls have been sleeping from about 11:30 or 12:00 til 8:00 or 9:00 for about 5 weeks. Crazy! Maybe it is the nursing. Maybe it is the mental game of it all. Maybe it is the "hands full" comment. HA! Whatever the reason, I am looking for more energy too.

Oh, and, I always wonder about the adoration and love that the girls get just because they are twins. I don't mind, but I think they do get more. I have my other kids to compare to. They do get more attention. That is okay. That is the life of a twin.

And, as always, your boys' smiles and eyes and cuteness get me.

Your boys just get cuter. I love the letter pictures. I ought to take more pictures of my boy. You've got such talent with photography!

It's funny how some people don't think about how they sound when they say things. My sister was due a day before me, and my other sister 9 weeks later. People would say, "Wow! Did you guys plan that?!?" And I'd hold my tongue, but really wanted to say a number of sarcastic, inappropriate remarks. Here's your sign.
