My Doctor

Last week I had my 6 month checkup. Once every 6 months i go up to the Hunstman Cancer Center and meet with my wonderful Doctor who took out my cancer from October 2007. The last time I saw him was one week before I found out that we were having twins. He had told me to bring my "baby" at my next appointment in September. Well he sure was surprised to come in and see two babies. He was so excited for me and so happy. He held one for a minute. They did my tests, everything came back clean. Still Cancer free!!! There was a mole that grew during my pregnancy and they cut it out to do a biopsy and it came back clean. So I am all good! Yay!! My wonderful Mom came with me and helped me out with the boys. As always we went and ate lunch at The Point in the hospital. They have such good food there. It was a good day, and i was exausted when I got home. Thanks mom for coming with me. Here are some pics from the day! Here I am with Dr. Andtbaka, he is holding Jensen and I have Brad. Here I am holding Jensen
Here I am with my Mom at lunch!!

Now an update on the boys. They are finally getting over their thrush thankgoodness. They are growing so big and eating so much. We are spending way to much on formula. The past couple of days they have not been sleeping as long or as much as I would like. I'm tired, but what else can yo uexpect. They have their 2 month check up on the 11th this week. I am excited to see how much they weigh and how much they have grown. They are finally getting to that more fun stage where they smile more and coo more at you. I just love it when they smile at me. It melts my heart and makes me so happy! Jason and I both noticed that they are starting to laugh a little. Their personalities are definately coming through. I tried to put a binky in Brads mouth the other day and he kept his mouth closed and wouldnt let me put it in. I tried one more time and his eyebrows furrowed at me and he gave me the bigest crusty. Tyler was by me and we both started laughing so hard. It was so cute and funny. They love bath time. Jason thinks they got the "Schwartz" sense of smell because they are always more calm after a bath. They don't like to smell. And I bathe them everyday. The formula can just roll down their necks and get on their clothes.
The other day Jensen spit up all over the front of me, then he had a HUGE blowout, cleaned that up and gave him a bath. Then Brad had an even BIGGER blowout and then cleaned that up. After I bathed him I had him in the towel and was walking to the changing table when he peed on me. Lovely!! I finally got them to sleep and hopped in the shower. Later on that night Brad had another blowout right before I was going to bed. Gotta love it. I can't complain because I am so lucky to have these two little guys in my life every day!
I have been cooking alot more lately and Jason loves it. I have become addicted to the food network channel. I love watching all the different things they make. Jason is the BEST Dad to these two guys. He comes home, kisses me and goes straight to them and gives them hugs and kisses and picks them up if they are not sleeping. He watched them from 5-11:30 on Saturday night so I could go out with my friends. He is so good to me and the boys. Thanks Honey!! I Love you! Anyways, I will be back with an update from their 2 month checkup!

Wow, Kelli! You're superwoman! I don't know how you do it. Most of us get way overwhelmed with ONE baby blowing out, and peeing and spitting all over us! You're amazing. So glad to hear you're cancer free! And keep up the good mothering. You're a great example to me!

Yay for a great doctor's appointment. It is so good to hear you report on normal life experiences: baths, out with friends, cooking (seriously???...cooking?), doctor appointments. You are my ability to get through some days when I think I will never again go out with friends or cook or ...or...or. Great job! AND--you look great!

I am not ignoring you on the clothes and books. I just basically don't get out much now. I WILL contact you soon. Thank you so much!
