so I can't believe that it has allready been 2 weeks since I have posted last. Time goes by too fast. I feel like I just posted it the other day. So, this is a baby post just to warn you all.
I had a docs appointment on Wednesday. I was a little anxious for it because I felt there were some things that needed to be discussed that hadn't yet. Also, I had alot of questions, and my doc appointment last time just felt so rushed and I felt like I still didn't know much about what should be going on with me and my boys!! Lately I have been reading alot of books about twins, and talking alot to my wonderful friend Kristina who had twins a year ago. Anyway, by 24 weeks all the books had said that I should be seeing a doc every two weeks once I hit that point. My last appt. had been at 23 weeks and it was just the normal listen to heartbeats, measure my belly and that was pretty much it. That appt. at 23 weeks was my first one with my new doctor. Anyways, so on Wednesday I went in with a lot of concerns and questions. I know that I have A- blood type which means I have to get a shot at 28 weeks, and another when the babies are born. And, I still had not gotten the glucose test done yet (another one which was suppose to happen at 28 weeks) both of these had not been mentioned to me, so that concerned me. Then a lady whose opinion I trust told me of an experience she had with the doctor that I was seeing. She suggested two different docs that were in the same office who were both excellent. Sorry-I'm straying from the story....
So to the appt. Jason couldn't get work off so my Mother came with me...she was super excited about it too. I was having an ultrasound done so she was so happy to be able to see the twins on the screen. I had the ultrasound done and found out that both babies are doing fantastic. Baby A is closest to the cervix which means he will be born first. Baby is on the left side of my belly, he weighed 2 lbs 4 oz. and measured 27 weeks and 6 days along. Baby B is on my right side, he weighed 2 lbs 7 oz. and measured 28 weeks and 5 days along. Both of them are breeched right now. Their heads are pretty much up in my stomach and ribs. They are facing each other, so their back sides are along my belly. Baby A was VERY active during the ultrasound which was the reason why his heart rate was 173, Baby B's heart rate was lower around 160...he was being the calm one which was a change. Normally Baby B is the more active one, but not that day. Anyway, after the ultrasound I talked to a nurse (becuase they didn't even schedule me to meet with the doc...) I told her my concerns about things that were not getting done. After talking to her she agreed that these things needed to get done, and that I shouldn't go a month without seeing a doctor. So she scheduled the shot and glucose test to be done for me, and I set up an appt. with a new doctor for the next week. I felt much more relaxed and happy about everything by the end. So I will see my new doc on Wedneday this week. I will be 28 weeks along so that means I will have gone 5 weeks without meeting with a doc (tsk, tsk, tsk....that doesn't sound good to me)!!
Anyway, then on Friday I got a call from the docs office and another doc who I have never met reviewd my ultrasound and said everything looked good, but that since i am pregnant with twins I need to get this special ultrasound done. I guess it's a more in depth one and they do more than just a normal one. And that one will happen on the 18th. So I am happy about that. I feel like things are starting to go more as they should!! Anyways, so that was my appointment. I got some fun little shots from the ultrasound, but I havn't scanned them in because our scanner is being retarded. So later for that, BUT I do have a belly shot update for you all!! There have been many of you asking to see a new updated one. Oh, at my last appt. at 23 weeks I measured 30 centermeters, so I am looking forward to see how much I have grown since then.
And last but not least, I want to wish my Mom, and Mother in Law HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!!
They are both such wonderful women with many great talents. I couldn't ask for more. Thank you, you two for all you do for me and Jason. We LOVE you!!!

YUP, I am growing...I feel it too. I can't really eat much, I don't sleep much, and bending over is getting harder to do. But I must say I am proud that I still have not had to buy Maternity Jeans yet. That makes me feel good. I know it won't stay that way for long though....sigh!!
