Ok, so I am finally posting what went on at the digi scrap retreat!! It all started on Friday... I got off of work around 1:20ish and went home to shower and get ready. After I was all done up, I packed and headed off for Park City! I have to admit that I enjoy taking car drives by myself. I enjoy the scenery and listening to music and singing along! So I finally arrived and called Kim and Kristal to meet up with them. After about 25 minutes I finally found which way I needed to be heading and met up with them at the outlets. It was such a great moment when we all finally met. Here is a picture of Kim... she was my roomie for the night!
So there was no problem of talking for all of us! We asked questions, told stories all while shopping up a storm. I must say that Shellie knows how to shop. And if we would not have had to leave to get to the hotel on time, she would have had more than just 3 bags of clothes!
We arrived at the Marriott hotel and checked into our rooms, with about 20 minutes to spare before the welcome party started. We got our seats and set up our computers, and gave hugs to all the women that we talk to daily on the scrap forum! QUICK NOTE: when we arrived at the front desk Kim ahd made some flyers with Keith's face on them saying, "WANTED" and some other stuff (running pranks that go on in the forums) which I was balmed for at first. I told him that I swore I had nothing to do with it, but of course he didn't believe me... back to story...
We got the party started, and the classes started. We learned alot, and were done by 10:00! When Kim and I got back to our room to put our computers away, our keys wouldn't open the door. I turned to Kim and said, "Am I retared, or are the keys not really working?" and that is when she said, "KEITH!! Keith did this to get back at us." So we go to the front desk and ask the lady if this man (pointing at his picture on the flyer Kim made) if he tampered with our keys, and she nodded yes. So now this was WAR!! We got our keys working again and put our stuff away. Anyway, after that is when the REAL party got started.
Kim and I had planned for this, I brought some cookies and bottled water, Dottie & Hubby brought an awesome veggie tray, and Kim brought very yummy gingersnap cookies! We took the food out to the lobby where many came and ate, talked and had fun until 1:00 in the morning. Her
e are some pictures..
After the party in the lobby slowly faded, Kim and I finally turned into our rooms and talked until about 2:30 in the morning...only to awake at 7:00 because we both couldn't fall back asleep. So we talked until 8:00 then got ready for the day to begin. At 9:00 classes started and a lot of learning started to begin. Here are a bunch of us at the tables watching the teachers do their thang!
Some of these are from the first day, others from the second!
Classes went all day taught by some very fabulous teachers who know ALOT about photoshop! We got a lunch break from 12-1:00 and went to a mexican shop, and had some tasty food. Here is a picture of all of us who went to lunch!
After lunch we went back into classes, and did some fun projects. Towards the end April gave out a lot of prizes, and I finally won one. Yay!! Anyway, congrats to Alex who won the Cannon printer. We also got together to take the picture of our high heels that may had asked us to take(a long ongoing thing about a high heel parade...a very lengthy explanation) anyway, so we took the picture!! Here are a couple..

Sadly enough at 6:00 in the evening it all came to an end. We put away our computers, and packed up. Talked a little bit more, took some last pictures and said our goodbyes! I drove home safely, and that was the end of that. I made some really good friends, and can't wait until the next time that we all can hang out again. Here is a group shot of mostly everyone!
Thank you April & Keith, and everyone else who put in so much time and effort to make the weekend fun, and full of learning! I am sure I speak for everyone when I say that we had waaaaay too much fun, and Thank YOu!!!
Thank you Kim, for being so friendly and fun! I hope that we will be roomie's again next year at the retreat! You taught me alot, and I LOVED hearing your stories!! Thanks for the fun weekend, you are HI-LARIOUS!!

Oh me, oh my! So, WHAT?! Amanda?! Seriously? She was supposed to be the one in the end! I'm so confused. I like Shayne. She's cute and fun. But she's NO WHERE near ready to be a wife. She's immature. She's only 22 (which, granted, I was married at 20 and had my first baby at 21, but I think our culture is just a LITTLE BIT different!) And I like Chelsea. She's cuet and real. But SO AWKWARD! I mean, I understand being stand-offish, especially in that situation, but she seems to totally blow him off all the time! But I think this gives away the ending. There's NO WAY he's choosing Shayne, right?
Looks like you all had so much fun together!! Its cool that you do something that is just you. I'm glad you got to get away and just have some "you" time! you will have to post some more of your cute pages you did.
I had so much fun at the retreat! I wish I had been able to hang out with you and Kim (and all the other forum girls) more than I did, but I had a blast when we were able to hang out. You are such a fun and vibrant person to be around. You light up the room and bring so much fun with you where ever you are. Thanks so much for being who you are. Love ya!!
Wow, it looks like you had a great time! I want to see more of your scrapbook pages now that I know how into it you are.

Okay, next year I am totally following you guys around the whole time. It looked like you had so much fun! We looked for you all at lunch, but must of missed you. It was a great time, eh?
That is totally an error on my part then, I thought I read on one of the other sites that your were prego, that is why I was impressed, you were way cute ( seriously not big and showy like I always am when prego) I apologize for the mistake.
Kelli, you made the retreat so much fun! I hope you realize that it just wouldn't have been the same without you there. You are such a sweet, incredible person & I'm glad to be your friend! Thanks for being so dang cute to me in Park City. It's impossible to be around you & not feel like life is great. You have a gift. lots of love ... xoxo
