ok, so this past week was pretty busy for me (that why it has taken me so long to post)! There has just been so much going on. It seems like there is stuff to get done everyday, and not always enough time to do it in!!
The biggest highlight of this past week was that on Thursday my little brother Derek came home from his mission. He served for the past 2 years in the Beunos Aires, Argentina mission. I could not be more proud of my little brother! Many of you know that I have been counting down the days until he came home!! My mom, sister and me made a lot of signs for him to have at the airport and at home. After a very long week Thursday finally arrived and we finally saw him coming down the stairs at the airport. I thought that I wouldn't cry (cause I would be so happy to see him that tears were not needed) but I did. The moment I saw him tears started to come. I gave him a big hug and just couldn't stop staring. I couldn't believe that he was finally home. His hair has sort of turned from red to blonde (from all the sun) and he just was so grown up! He was more quiet, and couldn't stop smiling. We all went out to lunch and had a good time talking. The Spanish language has taken over him. He now has to translate from spanish to english. In the middle of a sentence a spanish word would pop in. It is quite entertainig.
Derek was very surprised to see how much Tyler has grown. When he left Tyler was shorter than him, and now Tyler is and inch taller. Derek was officially released from being a missionary at 5 p.m. I could tell he was very sad to take the name badge off. He bore is Testimony to us in Spanish..I couldn't understand a word he said, but I felt the spirit very strongly. We all were crying (including him)! That night we all had dinner at my dad's and a couple of Derek's friends came over. It was a great reunion to see. Most of his friends served spanish speaking missions so they were all there speaking spanish to each other. I am so happy to have him home.
Here are some pictures from the airport and at home. Enjoy!

Yeah for families!
Yeah for missionaries!
I love little brothers, mine got home in december from korea and then left the next week with my mom and dad:( I am super excited though, both my little bro's get home at the end of April. Make sure to spend time with him before he runs off on some adventure, they tend to want to do that for some reason.
Looks like a very fun homecoming! And your blog header is so cute!!!
