My 27th Birthday

I celebrated my 27th brithday this month on the 7th. I cant believe that I am 27. I know that is not old, but I tell ya, I feel younger than that. My soul still feels like it's 21....

I was surprised on the sunday evening before my birthday with my sister and her family coming over with cake and presents. It was a lovely surprise. They sang our birthday german tradition song. We ate this yummy dessert that Cari made and sat around and talked and had fun. I loved it!! THEN on my birthday Jason came home early from work (a most wonderful gift) with a card and roses in hand. :) He watched the boys while I got ready. We left to go see the Thanksgiving Point light festival. The boys LOVED it. They kept pointing and laughing at all the lights. They were so cute. After the lights we made our way in to see Santa Claus. We waited in line for about 1 hour and 45 minutes. The boys were fantastic, even for being hungry and tired. The only hard thing was holding them for that long....ahhhh our arms and backs were killing by the time we got up to SAnta. Once the boys got on his lap they werent so happy anymore.... of course. But we got their pictures and headed home. We fed them and put them to bed. It really was a great birthday. There is nothing more that I want than to spend some fun family time with all my cute boys! Of course I did get some clothes and a pair of shoes :)

Quick note: I dont have pictures of the boys with Santa from our trip to Thanksgiving point because I have not scanned them in yet, but you should see them some time in the future!

Here is Jason holding both of the boys while we were waiting in line.... (oh while waiting in line I saw a berry wreath they had on sale for a $140.00... FOR A FREAKIN WREATH that I can get for $20 at roberts- and they looked the same-seesh expensive)
Jensen cheesing it for the camera. This is right before we entered the lights...
Brad making some kind of weird face...but still cute...of course :)
this was suppose to be at the end of the post... this was Santa wishing us a farewell... or a HO, either one works
Some lights we saw from the night...sorry the pictures are a little blurry...we were moving in a car

Here are a couple pictures of me from my Sunday birthday surprise partaaay!

Happy Birthday to me!! Oh, and a wonderful big huge loving THANKS to everyone who called and left me messages. I felt so special on my birthday. Love you all!!
