Jason got a nose job....

A couple of weeks ago I took Jason in for surgery to get his deviated septum fixed. So we were in for a weekend of me taking care of 3 boys and recovering!

Here is Jason giving the lady his info. They laughed about something, and Jason said she was nice.
Here we are waiting in the waiting room.

Jason waiting to get drugged up and signing his life away....gotta love his blue hair cap!
IV is in and they were about to roll him away.
See you in one hour honey...

During the one hour wait I drove over to Kneaders to try their french toast. I have always heard everybody talk about how good it is, so I finally had the chance to try some and everyone was right! It was yum!! I sat and ate it while I read a book. I got back to the waiting room, and two mintues later they called "Jason's family" which of course was me and to come back and see him.
Here he is still totally out of it. He asked the same questions over and over it was pretty funny.

Bloodshot eyes, and not lookin so happy. I was talking to him and at one point he interupted me and said "I need to count down from 100. 100...99...98..97...96" and so on. He just thought he needed to count down to bring him back to it. It was pretty funny, and he was really out of it. The nurse told him not to blow air through his nose and he did it. That is Jason for ya, always doing the exact opposite of what he is told to do.

Another picture of us together! I think he was sick of me taking pictures!!

The nurse that helped Jason out to the car.

By the way Nancy, Jasons Mom watched the boys for us while we were out. We were so grateful for that. She watched them from 7:30 to 3:00. We got back around 12:30 but I had to go to the store and get "liquidy" food for Jason to eat and get his prescriptions. I dropped the rpescriptions off at walmart and they said in 45 mins they will be filled. So I did my shopping and 45 mins later found myself waiting in line for 15 mins. Got to the counter and NONE of them were ready. She said just about 20 mins more because they got behind. So I hang around (mind you I hve icecream bars in the cart melting) waiting for them to call my name. They finally get me only to tell me they are having issues with the insurance. SO I give them all the info all over again. Sat and waited again. Talked to them some more cause they were having some more problems....AGGHHHH so I waited some more. While I was waiting this cute old man starting talking to me. He was sweet, and it helped the time go by a little faster. FINALLY the meds were all ready. I hopped in the car, ran to Juice Press and got Jason and Nancy a smoothie. Got home, thanked Nancy and put the groceries away!
Over the next 3-4 days Jason was in-then out of it. He would take the pain meds and 20 mins later was knocked out. He is also HI-LA-RIOUS when he is out of it. He said some pretty funny things. Let's just say I was THE BEST WIFE and MOM. I catered to my recovering hubbys every need. By the end I was tired. He is doing great now and can breathe so much better!
Anyways, just needed to get this post in. Thanks for reading if you did. That is 2 posts in a row that werent about the boys...did you like? Trying to spice things up a little around here for ya...
