{Easter Sunday!}

Easter Sunday in the morning when the boys woke up we let them dive into their easter baskets. Jensen went first and started to pull out his little presents. Then Brad took his turn...
A picture of them together with their bunny ears which they love. They didnt try to pull them off. They stayed on for a good while.
Staring at the camera for mommy.
We watched the first session of conferece (which I loved). The boys didnt listen because they were taking a nap. After the first session was over Jason and I got us all ready to head down to my Mom and Toms for Easter dinner. We had a nice ride down. Jason and i always love the hour ride down there because it gives us a great opportunity to talk with no distractions. The boys are always happy in the car. They just look out the windows and stare or fall asleep. So we always get great long conversations in. Plus the ride down is just so beautiful and peaceful.
Once we got down there the boys were hungry so my Mom and I fed them. Derek and Elli arrived not long after we started and when Derek came up to the boys and gave Brad a kiss Brad started crying. It was hilarious. He would calm down then look over at Derek and Cry again. We were all laughing. We think it was Dereks scruffy goatee that made him cry. Finally Derek walked away so Brad would stop crying. Although later on Derek held Brad and no crying took place. Just there at the beginning. We all watched the 2nd session of Conference then said a prayer and ate dinner. My Mom made Pot Roast which was so tender and delicious (like always) with rolls, asparagus and baked potatoes. YUM! Then later on for dessert she made strawberry shortcake. She makes the best shortcake. So great Mom, THANKS!!! We then watched Nanny McPhee which is so cute and funny. We then packed up and headed home. It was so great. I always love going down there and spending time with them.
When we got home we fed the boys, bathed them and put them in their new Easter pajamas (they were in their baskets because they really needed new pjs.)... So we took a pic with the bunny ears thrown in... Brad and Jensen
There is one thing that I meant to do but didnt' get a chance. I LOVE LOVE LOVE the movie "The Easter Parade" i just love old musical movies anyways, but since I was a child I have always loved this movie. So I am going to watch it this weekend and make Jason join me. I hope you all had a Great Easter. I am so grateful for such a wonderful holiday where we can remember our Savior. I always want to make sure that my kids will know that the true reason why we have Easter is for our Savior and not the Easter bunny.
There is so much we have to be thankful for. Christ sacraficed so much for us and we need to do our best to let him know that we care and remember what he did for us by trying our hardest to do our best and be like him.
