Last Monday we went out to lunch at the Olive Garden for our friend Kristinas birthday!! It was good fun, and good food. Happy Birthday Kristina!!

One May ask how long can one baby be entertained with a diaper (a clean one-no worries)? One Hour!! Yup, you heard me one hour. I had to change Jensens diaper and he started to get fussy, so I gave him a diaper to hold to distract him with and he was happy laying there for a whole hour just playing with the diaper. Who knew?

I had done about 4-5 loads of laundry and was sick of it sitting there, so Jason and I put it all in the living room and went at it. I left the room and came back to see Brad sitting in one of the laundry baskets. He thought it was so funny. He kept laughing and smiling. Isn't he so cute?

Jensen on his propped up bed on the couch to help him breath more easily. He loves to suck on his fingers and thumb. Lately they will try and suck on anything. I put my hand by them and they will try to suck on my fingers. They crack me up.

I just thought this picture was cute. Brad was just hanging out by Jason and was sucking on his fingers. I loved the look on his face.

SO, lately my life has not been happy. Last week Brad got sick. The poor kid! I thought he was getting the croupe because he showed similar signs to when Jensen had it, so on Tuesday last week I took him to the docs. To prevent him from getting the croupe the nurse practioner gave him a steriod shot. Well he got worse over the next couple of days not better. That resulted in him being so stuffed up that he could barely breath while eating, so he didn't eat much. His cough was horrible. It killed me every time he would cough. And our nights were very sleepless. He would wake up about every 1 and a half. Because of him getting no sleep, that meant I got no sleep. So I then go sick. Sinus infection I believe. I can't smell or tast anything right now. Jason came home and was like, ,"whoa, who has the poopy diaper?" We checked Jensen and sure enough it was way poopy, but I couldn't even tell...lol. Yikes! Anyways, Brad was still sick when Friday rolled around, and his temp jumped from 99.6 to 101.6 in about an hour. So i called the doc and they thought I should bring him in again. So my wonderful Mom and Tom came up to help me. Tom did the dishes in my kitchen sink and cleaned up the counters, then swept my floor! THANK YOU TOM! My mom folded laundry for me and watched the boys while I showered, THANK YOU MOM! My docs appt. was at 4, so we left at 3:30. My Mom and Tom took Jensen with them in their car to go run some errands while I took brad to the docs. I waited for about a half an hour, by that time my mom got to the docs and they said Brads lungs sounded very congested so she wanted me to take him to the hospital to get xrays and make sure he was ok. So we headed to the hospital, got the xrays. Brad was such a good boy. I was so proud of him. The results came back and he didn't have any problems. YAY! But, if his fever went back up to 102 then we would have to give him antibiotics. So that was my Friday.
Then Jensen got sick! Aggghhh, are you kidding me ? Two little sick babies is NOT fun! Then on Sunday Jason got sick, just not as bad as the rest of us. It is now Wednesday and I still can't breathe, my head has felt like it is going to burst for about the past 4 days, and Jensen still is sick. Brad still has a cough, just not as bad. I hate being sick. I want it done and over with!! I am missing all my workouts because I have no energy. The boys have just been fussier which I can understand because they don't feel good. Anyways, I know it could have been worse, so I am thankful that it is not. I hope you all are doing well.

never fun. We have croup too. Hope they get better soon.
Oh no! I'm so sorry. I hope you all get feeling better soon. Having one sick baby is hard enough. I don't even want to think about two. Good luck. I'm glad you have family to help you.
And you look great in that picture at the restaurant.
Oh, Kelli! I am so sorry. That is more than the pits. Nothing is worse than a sick little baby. Oh wait. Two sick little babies!! YIKES! When my girls were sick recently, I bought what is called a "Nosefrida." It looks crazy, I know. But, it works!! It is so much easier to get the boogies from their noses. I first put some "Little Noses" saline drops in their nose to loosen it up. Then I use the Nosefrida to suck out the boogies. GREAT! Little Noses can be purchased at any grocery store. I bought my Nosefrida from Amazon, but you can get it many places online. It may be too late for this round of sickness, but maybe in time for the next. Long comment, but it has saved me! The best!!
Sick babies are no fun! Those saline drops do work wonders and I couldn't have survived without my Vick's ultrasonic humidifiers!
Oh man. you have hit full fledged mommy-hood! I hate when both my little ones are sick at once. It's so sad. I hope your little guys start feeling better soon.
Hi Kelli. You commented on my blog forever ago, and I'm just now getting around to taking a look at yours. Your boys are adorable! Sorry to hear that y'all are all sick!
