I am still working on them sleeping better! Last night was a little bit better than it has been. The night before that they woke up at 1:00 and i got them down by 1:40, then they woke up at 3:30, got them down by 4:00 they woke up again at 4:30 and stayed up for a while. Then they sit there and smile at me (which is not a bad thing) but can't they smile and laugh at me at 9:00 in the morning instead of 4:00? AGGGHHH....Mommy needs more sleep than that!! Last night it was 3:00, and 4:30! Much better. They have this pattern, once they get about 4 hours of sleep, the sleep after that lasts only for about an hour or so. I have the healthy sleep, happy baby book, and I know about the Baby wise, but I won't start that until they are 4 months along.
Even with no sleep, and the lovely expense I would not trade these guys for anything. They make me laugh with their cute little personalities. I can't wait to see them crawl, and walk and talk. But until that time, I will cherish that they stay put and don't talk back..lol! I am trying to lose all my baby fat from the pregnancy. I am not in love with my body image right now. My belly fat is not like it was before. It's a different fat. I really feel like I have a spare tire around my waist. i have been working out everyday lately and instead of losing weight I am gaining. I don't eat after 8 at night, I am trying to drink tons of water and eat healthy. I work out and gain wait, not lose it....ARGGGHHH! I am thinking about buying the biggest loser cookbook. Just to be extra careful that I am doing all that I can. I really want my old body back. I want to be the size I was when I met Jason. I hate looking at myself in pictures. I hate to be in front of the camera. I always feel self concious. I just want to feel free from this weight. I know it takes time to lose the weight, and that I need to be patient, I just want it gone! Anyways, enough of my pouting and whining. I know that won't get me anywhere. I went to the pump class last night, and was there 5 minutes beore it started and there was NO room. I had to find a spot all the way at the front of the class (which I hate, I don't like others to be behind me) and it was right by the BIG, LOUD speaker. So I was deaf by the end of the class. next time I need to get there 15 mins before! Tongiht it's Zumba. I am trying to mix it up and keep "shocking" my body as they say to do. Please wish me all luck. And any tips would be greatly appreciated.
I went out to lunch with Kristin yesterday and her little boy Jack. We had a fun time. It's always good to get out of the house and talk to adults. Thanks Kristin!
Well, I need to get back to attending to my wonderful boys, and to cleaning the house, folding laundry and all the other wonderful house chores! I hope you all have a great day!

I can only imagine how fast you are going through diapers, wipes and formula. I remember feeling like we were flying through them and I only had one baby :) They are worth it and it doesn't last too long.
You are on the right track (not like I'm one to say), but just be patient and give your body time to adjust.
You boys are so cute! Keep taking lots of pics :)
Super cute, big boys. My little Emmitt still blesses the "twin boys that had poopy pants" every night in his prayers. They made a big impression on him.
Body? You are doing great. You look great. Give yourself some credit.
I am loving the book, "Get Ready, Get Set, Here We Come" (the purple one). Thank you for lending it to me. Loving having a few more shirts too. I haven't sent your ultrasound pictures yet. I promise I will get to it. One non-moving day at a time! HA
Kelli I do have some tips on the body thing only because I did the same thing. Right after my twins I lost the first 20 in two weeks then I could not get rid of the last 12 forever. I tried a lot of things but then I got this book at the library that told you exactly what to eat for a couple weeks written just for new mothers. It accounts for pumping if you're still doing that. Anyway it was hard work but I lost the 10 lbs in 2 months and then went right back to my old eating habits and it stayed off. I think the fat is different and has to be broken down differently. Anyway if you want more info call me. Your boys are beautiful and I love the photo of them both with shocked eyes!!
I've watched Zumba from a distance, so I will wish you good luck. While I can understand that you want the baby weight off quickly (I'm sure I will too), I honestly think you look awesome for having twins THREE months ago. And you are Superwoman the way you handle caring for double -- diapering, feeding, crying, burping, waking up, bathing, etc. Remember your post from two months ago -- you SO ROCK!
Oh man, I was just complaining about my weight the other day! (see previous blog post...) It really does take time, so don't be too hard on yourself.
And YAY for saving money on formula! My baby hated that kind and I hated that she hated it! :) She was a "formula snob" :)
Wow you look amazing...Probably never mentioned to you that I gained 63 lbs with ONE baby! And I am still working the last 20 off and my baby is 13 months old! You are wonderful, you can do it...just keep working hard and telling yourself to stick to it!
I think every mother gets the baby weight issue. I've gotta say, based on those photos form the boys' blessing, you look awesome!! But what matters is how you feel about yourself. Just keep at it. Watch what you eat and stay active. :) If you do try the biggest loser cookbook, let me know how you like it!
I wanted to invite you to my mom's club. Take a look.. If you like it click follow. Thanks! :) http://qualitytimewellspent.blogspot.com/ Cute blog by the way.
Kelli, you look fantastic from the pics of the blessing. It does take time for the weight to come off. With Makayla it took me longer to lose the weight than with Alexa. They say that it can take up to a year to be back to your weight. You're doing great. I think that all of your hard work will pay off. Cute pics!
You are so amazing... The boys are so beautiful! I don't know how you handle the constant night wakings! I die if Jackson wakes up once in the night! He's pretty good about sleeping. I know the struggles with the weight- it is so difficult to try and try and hot lose, I know how you feel. Let me know if you find the diet "Miracle Fix" ;) You are doing awesome.
Kelli, YOU are the inspiration! Geez! Working out everyday is hard for anyone, but with TWIN BABIES keeping you distracted, finding the time, let alone the energy or motivation, is a HUGE accomplishment!! You're awesome!! And thanks for always leaving me such sweet comments on my blog. :) You really are the greatest! As for your question, I am eating meat again. I just wanted to try the vegetarian thing for a while to see how I felt and to see if I could do it. I ended up doing it for about 2 months. I actually felt really good and it wasn't as hard as I'd expected it to be. Unless I ate out. If the kids and I needed to grab fast food I had pretty much two options: bean burrito at Taco Bell or veggie sub at Subway. They got pretty old. After the two months Jason was in his car accident and my visiting teachers brought dinner and I ate it without realizing there was meat hidden in it. :) Oops! That was actually around the same time I stopped eating healthy all together. Something in me just completely gave up. So when I started back up I decided that I was just going to do everything in moderation. Including meat. So, like this week, I ate salmon for dinner one night, and tonight I'm making spaghetti with a homemade veggie/turkey burger sauce, whole wheat pasta, and zucchini. The other nights this week I'll eat vegetarian meals and try to make sure that I'm eating plenty of beans or egg whites or nuts and seeds for the protein. I don't feel much different than when I wasn't eating meat. And I (mentally) feel really good about eating a lot less meat and when I do it's generally very lean meat. Anyway, bet you didn't think you'd get a novel!! Ha ha! :)
In these pics they look identical :)
