Strawberry Days!!

Ok, so one of my favorite activities during the summer is Strawberry Days! I love the parade, and I love spending time with family. We sat by Jason's family during the parade, and it was so fun to watch and see how excited all of the kids get. My little nephew Aidan kept running back and forth and got sooooo excited when he saw the horses! My friend Ashley is a dance teacher at Hot Shots and was in the parade. I cheered for her but she didnt hear me...but that is ok because she came over and said hi after it was over! Robert and Jason during the parade!

After the parade we headed to Jason's Uncles' house and had a BBQ! Most of Jasons family (Aunt, Uncles and cousins) was there just enjoying the food and sitting in the shade. All of the kids were playing in the water and having so much fun! And of course you can't have a BBQ on Strawberry Days with out strawberries'n cream (which is always the yummiest part of strawberry days)! Afterwards Jason and I stopped by and said hi to my brothers and hung out for a little bit!

Later on in the evening I went to a wedding reception. My beautiful friend Karli is getting married in September and she wanted me to meet her fiance Jeremy. It was her sister Konnie that had gotten married and I am really good friends with the family so I went and hung out with them all for a little while! The rececption was BEAUTIFUL! Her family knows how to decorate creatively (it's always stunning and gorgeous) and they are exceptional cooks. They are just the sweetest family! Anyways, so I had a fun time hanging out with them all.

Oh, and I need to tell you all what a fun time I had at the service auction that we had for enrichment. Like always it was a HOOT (yes I just used the word hoot)! It was so much fun, and my friend Jeni won the family pictures that I put it! I walked away with some homemade bread and jam! Jason was happy about that!

And on Friday I went up to SLC to take some engagement pictures at the SLC Temple. The couple Casey and Megan were so sweet and cute with each other. And at one point we were sitting by the reflection pond taking some pictures and 3 people walked by and I hear this man say, "this is the church that brainwashes you" and then the lady by him said, "stop! don't say that. Be nice. They are taking a really lovely photo session right now." and then the same man answers back, "but it's true. This is the brainwashing church." It was quite entertaining, and we all got a good chuckle out of it.

Until next time! :)

Ha! For sure, Twitch and Kerrington are amazing, and especially together, I could totally see them getting in the way of Chelsie winning :)
